The discussion kind of got underway because of the JD Furrow article. Yes Roundup tends to modify the microbes or something in the soil, and the net effect is that Manganese (Mn) is somewhat tied up by the RoundUp application. Monsanto has approved Manganese EDTA to be included in the tank Mix with RoundUp. EDTA's don't react with the RU active ingredient, therefore weed control isn't affected, and because of that non-reactivity the Mn is still available to be taken up by the crop.

Earthworm, I think you are correct.

I would guess that is what he was looking for with his question.
