Subject: RE: WAAS reception east of Maine (CDGPS Comments)

Centre county Pennsylvania, USA
Doug, our Memorial day weekend is my favorite holiday, Crops are all planted and sprayed, no drought (yet), flag raised in respect for veterans (from all freedom loving countries), and Indy 500 to watch. It just doesn't get any better than that !!

Now that CDGS correction service is available down here in the lower 48, I think many folks will be giving it a try, at least we will. Novatel seems to have OEM technology that will enable production of low cost dual frequency DGPS receivers that use CDGPS corrections to (hopefully) provide position accuracy equivalent to HP or SF2, minus the annual subscription cost. Should that come to pass it will be very popular on many farms here, where RTK is not the answer.

Thanks again for posting.
