Subject: RE: WAAS reception east of Maine (CDGPS Comments)

Centre county Pennsylvania, USA
Doug, that's great information, thanks much.

Pat Fenton's bio-sketch was timely, we will all be watching the Indy-Car race this weekend. Now we know why the Sportsvision folks can show us those incredible streams of time-tagged velocity graphics for each Indy-Car in real time. Maintaining GPS tracking inside any "Brickyard" is an impressive accomplishment.

I would take issue with Fenton's view on "What's Next" however. Using Cell tower sourced signals for pseudo ranging will never compete with GPS pseudo ranging in agriculture usage here. We can always get GPS ranging service over all areas in our farms here but several of those farms have areas where we can't get cell phone service, from any tower !!
