Subject: RE: EZ-Guide 500, autopilot, sprayer when to engage

I have found that whether I am comfortable with using ez steer with sprayer has a lot to do with how smooth the surface is. Some fields seem to work fine while others will have the 500 making corrections that are so severe it can't be used (speeds make a lot of difference too). After struggling with the "what is the easiest way to use this product question", for me it came down to simply watching the the color changes on the spray function. I am more comfortable laying down some foam on the ends and watching the tool bar on the screen. Have found that it is really pretty accurate and after a while I could make the truns smoothly by just watching the tool bar get lined up with the last past color change -making the pass it seems to be right on when it shows you whether you are leaving a skip or overlapping and by how much. Every time I compared the screen with what the foam told me it looked acceptable.
