southern MN | I was pretty tired, did _not_ mean that to sound the way it did exactly. Was going along with you, not confronting you on going for the top price. And - we all do want that top price - that's why we have $10 beans sitting in the bins when they get back down to $6 right? :)
I'm sure I could deal with puts & calls - just at this point I think in a different direction than that might pull me. I only lately started selling crops before they are planted - that was a big step for me. :) Small steps. :)
I guess the selling over time thing is weighted towards the peak price months. It helps a person get something done on the rotten years. Then something like last fall & currently comes along, and we all wonder what now, what to do!
Good marketing thread - we don't see so many of them. Thanks for starting it.
