Yes - that would be correct. You need the L1/L2 Antenna, the unlock code for the 500 and a subscription to either XP or HP.

The Omnistar folks may give you a "free" trial period. Once the unlock code for the 500 is installed, it is pretty much permanent. That unit would remain unlocked even though the free trial period for the subscription would expire.

Personally, I use an EZ-Guide 500 (WAAS) running an autopilot in one tractor for tillage type activities. The planting tractor uses a 332 with Omnistar XP, an Insight and and autopilot.

I was happy enough with the 500 using WAAS but then again, this was for tillage. Also I didn't drive that tractor that much since I was running the planting tractor.
