It's rather amazing how much corn can get planted in a short week. Most of our neighbors have the capacity to do all their acres in 4-5 days. Some by themself, some partner with others. The major ones around here behind are the BTO's. Guess when you are constantly out bidding for acres it's hard to keep up with equipment buying or leasing also.
Add in autosteering/lightbar and seed tenders, and pretty soon any size planter gets a lot more acres per day covered.
