I am using ez-guide plus without integrated GPS with autopilot and ez=steer. I tried wass and Omni-star XP last fall when I purched both systems.. I found the wass to be almost perfect at times and then would be off as much as 2 feet at other times!
Tried XP ($800 year) at 3 to 5 inch convergence and changed the implement setting from 40'(wass) to 41.7 (XP)' on a 42' air seeder and had much results. So I subscribed to Omnistar XP. My convergence is usually 2".
If using Auto-seed,the convergence time is usually only about 5 minutes when it works but some times it don't . Without Auto-seed it sometimes takes an hour plus to get convergence. But when spraying or planting I would rather wait for omnistar convergence than go back to wass!
I farm in NE Colo and as for here wass sucks.
