SW Kansas | We have a 2600 on a 4710. We are also spraying center pivots. We have the settings set to minimize skips on exterior boundaries, 2 sec look ahead on turn on 0 sec look ahead on turn off and in line off set from Starfire receiver to boom at 20'4". The coverage map still shows areas that are suppose skips. We have talked to Greenstar and they have suggested the changes to the settings we currently have. We spray a pass around the perimeter of the circle then spray the rest of the circle perpendicular to this pass. We have not seen any skips on burn down we have done to this point but I still think there is a software glitch that is not letting the coverage map properly duplicate what the sprayer is actually doing. We like the Swath Control but wish we could solve this perceived skip issue on the coverage maps! | |
