Ask Kay/NC about hair type sheep. She raises sheep that do not make wool and is doing well. The advantages of a meat type hair sheep is they eat both brush and grass, so fit well into small pastures. They produce better tasting meat, and you do not have the expense of shearing the wool. A plus is sheep seldom climb a tree to be able to jump over a fence. You wil be selling to much the same customers as the goat buyers. | |
