| With a tripod RTK we usually get good signal 2 miles line of sight with a tractor using John Deere base station and JD tractor. When I do any mapping with a utv I can only get about 1.6 miles away from base. Where I farm it is very flat I can usually see for 4 miles. If you do go with an RTK I would recomend getting one that has the RTK extend it is very handy. Having the antenna as high as possible icreases range. | |
