Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I originally complained about my EZ-Guide 500 not starting up. Temperature was not the issue as I was in a neighbor's shop with a wood stove and the Temp was uncomfortably warm.
I haven't really had much problem lately. When the unit appeared to be dead, it was really ON as evidenced by the fact that the Insight which gets its GPS from the 500 was showing good GPS.
Leaving it in this suspended state for a while and then turning OFF and then back ON seemed to get things going.
I wouldn't really want to do a "forced reset" very often as I would need to reset several things in my situation.
