Subject: RE: GPS Data Offset

Effingham, IL

Because the Autofarm base stations are designed to have you up and running within minutes after initial power up, the base station does not calculate it's "real-world" position. Consequently, any data which is logged using this correction source will be positioned slightly off its actual position. To correct this you will have to take a handheld GPS unit to the base station and log the longitude and latitude of the base. Then, you will need to enter these coordinates in your system in the tractor. To do this, navigate to where you select the base station and then press 'edit'. In the edit screen there will be a latitude box and a longitude box. Change these coordinates to the new coordinates that you obtained from the handheld GPS unit. If the base station is moved in the future, you will need to do this over again.
