Get your barns and anything else you had in mind up ASAP before that counsel changes the zoning law if you want to use the land for that purpose. If you beat the counsel to the punch, they will have to either grandfather you or compensate you to move the operations.

Zoning laws just like property taxes are total BS. Just another way for the government local or otherwise to force their co-ownership on you at gun point and to control your private property. I can understand zoning restricts in some VERY limited instances PROVIDED the land owners are PROPERLY and JUSTLY compensated for the lose of land use.
