Ozark, Arkansas
Tuscy, it is interesting hearing how everybody does everything, we move our birds over here by driving them but we don't have any tunnels we use snow fencing as a run way, my wife and I and our Border collie can move 8000 or a grow out house in about an hour and half on a good move
we also sometimes hire one other helper, we do have to pick our time and wait if it's cold, raining, snowing or anything, we try to move our birds at 5 1/2 weeks.
I got shavings today, 60 % wood shavings, 40% rice hulls, they bring them in a trailer with an unloader that delivers them into their bob truck and they do the spreading in the brooder houses.
