We have similar barns. One thing, Kingbaby, we did was install rebar (in the ceiling) across the hooks that hold the plasson's in the grow-outs. This allows us to move the waters along the rebar very quickly. No struggling with catching the hook. Your comment about the radiant heaters is intersting. I am looking for a solution to lowering labor as well. The start up is very intense. The most difficult task I believe we do is chase the birds through the 50X8 ft tunnels to the grow-out. I'd be interested to hear how you do it.

We are also using recycled paper in the brooder. We have had asper problems and so far the paper has helped. We are using the Verox system to treat the water and I am very pleased with that.
