Subject: RE: Burkholder Brothers tractor Lebanon Pa?

Burkholder is a common PA German last name. I know several Burkholders who are neither Amish nor Mennonite.
I don't know this Burkholder Bros. - never heard of them before - but it is conceivable that they are Mennonite.
I would really guess they are not Amish.

BTW, I was at a meeting this winter, sitting next to a guy. We got to talking. He called himself an "Amish-Mennonite". I said, "what is that? I've never heard 'Amish-Mennonite'."
He said, " I am Mennonite, but all my roots go back to Amish."
I understand that he was Amish but "progressed" to having tractors and the like - more like the other Mennonites.
This particular guy has a custom manure hauling business. That would be very difficult to do, if he could only pull manure spreaders with horses.   Tongue out
