I will not change my plans from corn here in NE SD until at least the middle of May. I would say we will not turn a wheel till the 1st of may unless it really changes. This is not to late yet at all in fact I would rather have it like this than the dust blowing like some springs, at least we know are subsoil is full. but some wheat acre I would guess may get switched to corn here. As far as getting the N on I am not worried at all about that, If I cant get the 28% down cause of weather I will use some other form later on in spring or early summer. My dealer is sure there is plenty of N and if I had to could go back in middle of June to put anhydrous down. I know other farmers dont have these options but up here I think we do.
