Should be no problem, especially if it's a John Blue piston pump...that's what we have on a 1760 12 row. Haven't used it that way on this planter, but had saddle tanks on the tractor a few years back with a 7000, and then a 7200 planter. They just had a sqeeze pump with the rubber hoses, and they sucked from the tractor tanks just fine. The piston pump will have alot more suction.
