SE Nebraska | Here in Iowa they are talking 4-8in of snow over night tonight. Last year we had 3 weeks of filedowork in by now. We haven't turned a wheel yet. If it gets too late, a lot of projected corn on corn acres will end up going to soybeans, partly because shorter season varieties aren't available. With the losses in the South, we could be in for a wild ride this year. I am really anxious to see what the planting reports after it is in the ground say about true acreage. | |
