Subject: Frozen wheat = more beans & more corn?



central - east central Minnesota -
No reason for corn or beans to go up. Trades think frozen wheat = more beans or corn. If wheat gets zero'd out for insureance then they can plant beans and collect 100% insurence. If they plant corn then they can't collect 100% figure some still will plant corn. That was the way it was explained to me. Wheat is moveing up in price - but what wheat remains may yeild bumper amounts due to moisture and cool conditions which the wheat area's haven't had for many years. For what it's worth - those are some opinions of traders related to me . . .
