On any of the Micro Trak systems I have and have seen, there still is a calibration number that gets entered into the console.

What I do like about using the little pucks for a receiver is that you can "fine tune" the calibration entry on the road and not need to worry about the different rolling circumference of the wheel in different field conditions.

Newer ones may be different, not sure. I do know that the Micro Trak Acre meter I have in one tractor (about 3 yrs old), is not compatible with the GPS receiver MT sold then. It does work with my MT 3000 and Yield Trakker tho.
