East Central SD | I was mostly wondering how many places have opened up free price later. Either not many have or no one is saying.
As a clarification - you are not getting "free storage", you have sold the grain, they have ownership of it and probably have either processed it or shipped it out, and you have nothing if something happens to the elevator because you have no storage receipt. If you look right on the price later contract it states that you are not covered.
I don't think it eliminates any price rallies but it definately has a negative effect on basis improvement... that's not even debatable. | |
