Subject: RE: Wheat Damage

Brinkley, Arkansas
Lots of wheat headed out here in EC Arkansas. We got down to 30 deg. F this weekend so we'll see how bad the damage is. Local extension service says 30 deg for 2 hours = moderate/severe damage. According to a weather site I frequent our closest reporting station was at 30.2 for just over 2 hours.

Lots of corn is in the 4-6 leaf stage and looks bad right now. I'm told by the "experts" it will come back but with what kind of yield reduction?
