Yes, the UD Plus can do as-applied recording. You need a GPS receiver, cable, and datacard. It can't do true split planter logging. You log everything as one dataset and then split it in the desktop software.
Make sure you have GPS enabled in the display, or you'll never see the map screens you need to see to do logging. The latest display software is v8.2, which your dealer can load for you.
