Autofarms has a imp. system called AFTRACKER. Haven't seen one yet work, but everyone Iv'e talked to that has one has eliminated all the problems you have mentioned above. Steep terain, soil conditions, and the GPS drift can all be taken away. Look on their site. gpsfarm.com
