Western Nebraska | How mean are they? We use bull groups all of the time. If they have a chance to spend some time together away from the cows they will usually get the fighting done and be ready to work when you turn them out. If your pasture is in good shape and the cows are cycling fast you may overload one bull in the early breeding season. Is the pasture very big? Often times the bulls will sort some cows off for themselves and stay with them if you give them enough room. | |
