Subject: RE: Real Cowboys

Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot
The real cowboys I know are just as likely to be in insulated coveralls, five buckle overshoes and baseball caps as big old belt buckles and 20,000x cowboy hats. I've also never seen a real cowboy with that stupid 'cowboy up' slogan pasted all over their pickup, T-shirt, belt buckles, probably even got a 'cowboy up' tattoo somewhere.

Now the guy you see headed down in the road in the spanking new dually pickup (without even a dent!) pulling the air conditioned 6 horse trailer with the bumper sticker that says 'rodeo or die'---he is not a real cowboy. The real cowboy is probably standing knee deep in sh*t pulling a calf, or baling hay somewhere. Maybe even riding the range checking grass (a few still do on horseback in rough country, but Honda and Polaris are real popular as well). I have a lot of respect for real cattlemen, the others...
