Subject: Deere imp switch?.....from below

I'm planning on putting on my Agleader implement switch on a new Deere 1770 CCS tomorrow. Am I correct in reading the previous post(s) that I can just use an existing Deere switch? If so, how? It would be nice if I could so the the current AL switch and cable could stay w/NH3 rig. Plus I don't know if I would have a long enough extension cable anyways. Thanks
