That is a good point Jay. A lot of irrigated ground that in the past may have been raising a crop other thatn corn becuause there were higher value crops to raise suddenly has corn looking like the high value crop. That could be the case for some rice acres also. BT corn seed has to be a big boon for the south also as bugs have been a big time problem in the past for corn with their long growing season.

What do you usually raise in the irrigated fields where you will be planting corn?
