We used a wisker switch on our Kinze 3600 and mounted it in the middle near the rotating pole - we don't have the planter any longer or any pics and don't even remember exactly how we mounted it. John Deere uses a switch on their new planters that actually might work better than a wisker switch. If you have got a deere dealer nearby check it out - might be able to adapt it and I think they are more reasonable priced than the wisker switches.
