Central SD
If you can, try just pulling a WAAS signal into the G* display. Last year, while using a Raven receiver and antenna my G*2 2600 display would recognize a WAAS correction. But as soon as I tried using Omnistar XP or HP, I would lose GPS recognition at convergence.

I tried getting help from JD, e-mailed them the NMEA strings that showed I had GPS, but got no help. I can't remember where in the string, but at convergence a number changed from a ( 1 ) to 5 ( I think) The 2600 display didn't like that, and would not recognize GPS until I switched back to WAAS.

I think it is something JD has written into their system to keep you from using other than Greenstar subscriptions. Now that I think about it though, it's hard to believe someone else hasn't ran into this problem, and that there isn't a solution. I could be wrong, and maybe just didn't talk to the right person.
