Have you sold your calves yet? We weaned ours about a month ago they went on to brome and lot of legumes they will stay on that to gain up for the winter of roughing them, then to the sale barn.

Several years ago when we still calved in March we had what I thought was one of our best cows that calved on a bad night, well I didn't check on her and the calf rolled under the fence and froze. That was my last time with that nonsense. Ben
