The only difference in the two systems is the steering mechanisms...one hyd, and the other mechanical. There will be some losses in accuarcy occuring in the motor, driving through the steering wheel, column, into the steering motor, but they should be minimal. Both systems use steering angle sensors, so line aquisition capabilities will be the virtually the same. I've run Quicktrax right up to the 22mph limit on hi-clearance sprayers and it ifeels very stable and safe compared to the other mechanical drive systems. If it is going on a SPX3320, you should be fine. They steer real well. Up in our part of the world... the Raven Smartrax is the mid-priced steering of choice on the Case sprayers, mainly because of the line aquisition capabilities.
