Been thinking more here. So, one of the advantages to autopilot planting is supposed lack of need for mechanical markers. That brings about the idea of different row planters vs combine heads. Plant w/a 16r planter, but combine w/a 12r head...or something like that. But-if that guess-row gets too wide then all the curb feelers in the world won't help on the corn head.

Maybe my idea was bad?
