Subject: RE: Can a JD receiver feed an Easy steer signal?

Camrose, Alberta
I was able to combine the two systems together. I use the EZ-Steer to autosteer and it also sends a signal to the GS2 for my mapping. I had to buy a "Third party controller wiring harness" from JD ($50.00) to hook the two systems together. Then I just changed the data port settings on the Trimble so the GS2 would accept the NEMA strings. The biggest job was wiring my 8570 4WD to be GreenStar ready, ($500.00) just so I coud power my 2600 monitor. I believe it would also work to use the JD Starfire ITC reciever to send the Trimble the GPS signal. It might even work better because I don't have the T2.

Thanks for the input.
