Subject: RE: Drawing NH3 out of the "end" of tanks

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Ron- now that you mention it the top valves had the usual "cage" to protect the valves. It did not appear that the end draw had any type of protection.

Is there some reason other than not having to climb up on the tire to hook up for this type of plumbing?

I regularly carry a short step stool on my NH3 bar to make my ascent up on the tire a bit safer. The 2000 gallon tanks in our area are reserved for the custom applicators. Most of them have some type of built in stand on them but the 1500 gallon tanks that I get don't.

I have thought about trying to build some type of step that could be easily thrown over the tire for hooking up the NH3 hose but never get around to doing this.
