On www.ez-steer.com, there are hints how to improve performance.... One of them is how to improve performance when engaging: get as close to the guess row as possible before engaging and it will be just fine.... I did a 30 hour non stop test (posted here) end of february on a Mc Cormick MTX200 (similar to Case MX200) with a 10' ripper at 6-7.5 Km/h which is approx 4-5 mph. The engagement angle was set to 10° and the distance to 1m (3'3") I think. I tried increasing the tolerance of both params and could engage earlyer, but the system needed longer to align to the guess row. Once used to the system, aligning was an easy game, with large enough headlands, didn't even slow down :) Of course when spraying at 15mph or more, it's another game! Enjoy your system. ;)
