Now you see why cell phone transmission of the correction signal has so much appeal if you have good cell coverage.  No hauling equipment around and setting it up.  The line of sight radio signal is a terrible choice of carrier wave for this application, at least in my part of the country.  But is sure does allow the manufacturers to sell you a lot of expensive equipment.  And we will see trends that will attempt to make these system only compatible with one companies equipment.  In other words they are going to try to use proprietary data transmission structures that will force you to buy their transmission equipment.
