Subject: Trimble 252 recall... what did they do and do you notice any difference?

Eastern Iowa
We just got our Trimble 252 GPS receiver back from Ag Leader. It had a recall and they said they replaced some hardware as well as changed or upgraded some software. I haven't been able to find out exactly what they did but have been told that it will help with Omnistar convergence time. Has anyone else heard the same? Better yet, has anyone used their 252 w/ Omnistar and noticed any different results or improved convergence time? What are some of you guys running for an Omnistar signal (XP or HP) and what kind of typical convergence are you seeing? Have also been told that Trimble testing in Colorado is showing 4-5" repeatability with HP? Anyone else heard or experienced this? How about XP as well?
