Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Thanks for the compliments guys - I do get some satisfaction when I'm able to help someone out with something where I've had experience.
Many here have been helpful to me also and I appreciate that.
Speaking of helping me - We just reinstalled the Trimble Autopilot valve on my 8120. This is a new installation. You may recall that it seemed fine last week but when I went the field after installing some adapters to make the pressure and return lines fit around the Three point top link that I had problems.
My Coworker installer figured that I allowed some debris to enter into the system when I removed the hoses to insert the adapters. He cleaned the valve and reinstalled it yesterday. It seemed alright at first but now the wheels turn by themselves again.
I am of the opinion that there is air in the lines yet that needs to get worked out. My Coworker disagrees on this point. I know from past experience with orfices in regular hydraulic cylinders, that it may take many, many cycles to purge the air sometimes. I am thinking this could be the case here.
Any other ideas?
