Subject: RE: Ez-guide 500 & Ez-steer cabling?

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I am told that the a new cable is required that costs around $85. Don't know much more than that but it seems that the EZ-Steer will need a different verision of firmware (free) to work with the 500 also.

After posting this message-

I received this email from Ag Leader:

Q: Last year I used EZ-Steer with EZ-Guide+. What changes will I need to make in order to use EZ-Guide 500?

A: Your EZ-Steer system will be compatible with the new EZ-Guide 500 color display! Just ask your dealer to order cable part pn4001127 so you can make the connections. Meanwhile, install V 4.0 firmware in your EZ-Steer controller and you'll be ready to enter vehicle setup configurations and calibrate.

After receiving this email - I checked for this version 4 for the EZ-Steer and couldn't find it. Really that's just as well since I haven't seen any 500's yet anyway.
