What Don said and I did it last year with the help of the "nudge" button.  Still better than driveing yourself.  It is for sure you will have to shift your track to be perfect the following year.  That is my findings, some may say you never do, but not here.

I have wondered if the line can drift off in degrees. like point A drifts 4 inches right and point B drifts 6 inches right. 

With the Striptill working a 8 inch wide strip and the fert is mixed in the whole strip you really have a wider path to plant than 2 inches.   Of course this is with the Dawn unit and just an opinion.

 

I think my problems( no I hope) last year was mostly implement drift and it will work better this spring.  heh heh Laughing

 

Oh ya if all you are doing is planting on conventional till, I believe there are a lot of people just useing WAAS and EZ Steer to plant.  You can easily step up to the HP if you want.
