I passed up the chance to buy a JD 7200 vac planter a few times this spring, have had such great service out of a 7000 finger unit that I hated to switch to something that was completely foreign to me. The vacs I saw were the two hole units, though I think someone said they are making e-sets to fit them now, too? I told my brother that they(JD vac planters) must be working ok, there are thousands of them out there. Just have to get done planting beans and I can start looking for a better planter in the off season.

Pete, if you are considering a 7200 front fold flex, skip it and go to a 1770, much better row units and the frame is much stronger, lots of 7200's had probs with the frames breaking, especially if they had fertilizer on them. The also had problems with the master cylinder phasing.
