| There's only one good thing to do with the futures markets whether corn, beans, silver or gold. Stay out of them.
I think a lot of farmers have it right when they and their wives say: We are farmers and we leave speculating to the speculators. I'm talking bare naked speculating.
One of the best things I ever determined about the futures markets--stock market too--either you become a true professional at it or the pros take your money. An alternative is to let a true, proven pro handle your money--and not too much at that. One of the first questions for the guy who handles your money is: What is your track record? Lot of people too shy or polite to ask this question. They are making a big mistake.
