Centre county Pennsylvania, USA
Couple of things to keep in mind. EZ dealers seem to be recommending mounting antenna fwd on hood because that gives more steering sensitivity (EZ does not get steering feedback from steering valves). The big problem with mounting on hood is blockage by tractor stacks and cabs. Now that WAAS satellite is lower elevation that is a bigger problem. Mounting on top of stack or other extensions is not good idea because those things have their own motion, different that tractor body motion. We will keep EZ antenna mounted on cab front, we have dialed in EZ to work with that antenna placement and are happy with performance.
