Subject: GPS speed clarifications

Eastern Iowa
Hey Don, one advantage that the Rawson Accu-Speed box has over a cable that can take a GPS NMEA string and simulate a radar output is that the Accu-Speed can hold your speed output even if you lose your GPS signal. In other words, if you are planting, spraying, or whatever.... in the field and you get to close to a grove of trees and lose your GPS signal, the Accu-Speed will continue to output your last valid ground speed until you you require your GPS signal. As for the operating temperature ranges, there must have been a misprint as the literature at farm shows says -30 to 176 degrees F.
