Last week an auto update on a Win98 computer at work caused it to have unending "illegal execution" from windows explorer. I spent most of a day reformatting and loading 2000 on it and then reloading and resetting all of the parts lookup programs and printer drivers.
Microsoft broke it,now they fixed it. 8)
