Eastern Iowa | The Peiffer cows belonged to a neighbor who passed away suddenly. A group of neighbors rounded them up Friday and loaded them up for the sale. They were no problem then. But I think we arrived after most of theirs were sold.
Being handled at the sale barn does have an effect. Just depends on the guys you have back there. But all the cows on the sale went through the same deal, so it's relative, I guess.
It's been a long time since I've been at a cow sale that packed.
