Have you weighed him, or are you guessing that he weighs 800? My thought is that if he was good enough to be kept for a herd bull, he should weigh a heck of a lot more than 800 by the time he's 14 months old. JMHO. Might want to look elsewhere for a bull if he's grown that slow, as a bull will make up 1/2 of your herd's genetics.
